No Rochu, No Life.

Bright moon, delicious mooncake, and the most important thing is to stay with family.
That's Mid-Autumn.^_^
If you look to the full moon tonight, then you will find a beautiful girl called Chang E in the moon. Together with Chang E is a rabbit, it will milling herbs. And a man called Wu Gang, who is busy to cut down an osmanthus tree. Unfortunately, the tree can never be cut down……
The legend also spreaded to Japan. But there is a little different. Japanese moon rabbit's work is to make new year cake (a kind of glutinous rice cake), not dealing with herbs. Actually I'm always feeling confused...

On today's local newspaper, it reported that some residents in my city joined an event to make special mooncakes. They created wonderful shapes...included sunflower and bear. ^L^ Oh dear...Vanya is watching you! (laugh)
By the way, the traditional shape of mooncake is round, for the meaning of full moon and family members get together happily.
There are several flavours of mooncake. My favourite is lotus with egg yolk. Red bean is too sweet for me, and I do hate those "fruit" flavour mooncake--there is no fruit in it.
I once tried the ham mooncake when I was young and live in Yunnan province. That's great❤. But I can never find this flavour in Hunan province. Maybe that's a special local product of Yunnan. TwT~I do miss it!
Another special flavour mooncake is Hongkong's ice mooncake. ↓

looks nice right? That tastes nice too! I love this kind of mooncakes because it is not such sweet, I don't like food which contains too much sugar.
Enjoy the bright moon and time with family! Happy Mid-Autumn day.^_^
And this mooncake look so tasty** And very beautiful national Chinese ornament~!^_^ Did you cook it myself?
By the way, long ago the New Year was celebrated in Russia on September 1))) Only in the XVII century Ivan began to celebrate New Year as and now, on January 1. And today is the day of Autumn Equinox!
And I was glad to read about mooncakes in the shape of bear and sunflower, I sure it was Ivan - he asked Yao to cook special mooncakes for him, and Yao made this~XDD Maybe it was payment for that Ivan will not eat Yao, fufufu~
Well, I bought mooncakes from bakery after school. To make a handmade mooncake is a difficult work for me...TwT
Maybe it was payment for that Ivan will not eat Yao, fufufu~
^L^ Mooncake is delicious, so does Yao. What will Ivan choose is obvious. You know! Select one from two or take both, that's a question...XD
Oh, I thought you made it myself, because it is too beautiful and the filling is specially^^ *drools*XDD
As far as I know Ivan he'll select both!!!*__* And will be right~XDD
Once I saw how Chinese government was singing this song, it was awesome XDD
I saw that video too! No wonder...nearly every Chinese people know "Подмовсковные вечера", and most of us could sing it☆
Favorite Yao's song from Ivan?XD
And another song..."Ой, цветёт калина в поле у ручья~♪"...is also well-known and famous!
CCTV even have had a TV drama about the lovestory of RoChu...and it was named by that song.
we enjoyed the RoChu TV drama during the spring festival of 2010. Hmm...maybe next time I will write something about "RoChu dramas". CCTV loves to make drama with Russian actor, now it said that another "RoChu drama" have already start to make. The drama's name is ... Orz, I can't describe my mood when I saw the big title of "NEW ROCHU DRAMA MY NATASHA WILL COMING SOON" on the local newspaper...=w=
MY NATASHA
Well...next time I'll trying to collect some pictures about that drama and show them here. I need some time to do this work~(lol)
I can't imagine what will show to us! According to our local newspaper, it's "a lovestory between two countries and lasts more than 50 years☆".
Belarus-chan's name in Chinese is quite interesting. Belarus=白俄罗斯...Russia=俄罗斯. So...Belarus="white Russia". I'm not sure if it the real reason that some Chinese people always mix up Belarus and Russia...XD. Once I went to the post office and want to send a register mail to Russia, but they give me a barcode which is for Belarus.=_= So...hmmmm, I think Belarus-chan maybe...will be very happy to hear about it?
Oh, it's all right, because there are almost "White Russia" is name of Belarus in Belarus, Ukraine and Russia - Беларусь, where Бела is fragment of word Белый - white and Русь is an old name of Russia in my motherland. So, I can to get why some people mixes up our country
I've heard that users in Australia and America can't watch videos on Tudou now. Because in our RoChu Fan Group there are some abroad-students who are in those countries told us about it. So...I think maybe only Chinese users can link Tudou? XD
If you can watch video on that website, then click it: http://www.tudou.com/programs/view/9TEdoLGvwAg/
<- This is a link of the first episode of that RoChu drama <红莓花儿开>
Russia=unexpected country? I don't know this phrase...maybe that's a dialect in some part of China? Sorry because I'm located in south and know little about north-China...There are different way to use Chinese in different part. The only "nickname" of Russia...as far as I know, is "Big Brother".
Ooh, I write you about this episode in your journal about dramas, wait a minute^_^
Ooh, I don't know myself - I've read this in the Russian article of the man who very loves Chinese language and he wrote the characters what considered the word "Russian" means "unexpected" and "country", but maybe he was wrong...
But if you mean the word "Russia" in Chinese, there have an interesting meaning. Russia=Россия=俄罗斯, for short people call 俄罗斯 as 俄. Please look at this character, you can separate it into "人"(people) and "我"(me). That means "人"+"我"="俄"-----So the deep meaning of Russia is "a people stand near me❤"
"a people stand near me"...
